“Projection Model and Scenario Analysis for Future Carbon Emissions in China”start-up meeting convened at Beijing on March 17, 2015.Related officials and experts from Ministry of Foreign Affair, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Environment Protection, China Meteorological Agency and Energy Research Institute of NDRC attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Jiang Zhaoli, Director of the Department of Climate Change, NDRC.
The project leader of Tsinghua University introduced the main content of the “Projection Model and Scenario Analysis for Future Carbon Emissions in China” subproject, focusing on the research approach,the expected achievements and the working programme. The experts and representatives put forward constructive suggestions and comments on the project implementation.
The meeting marked that “Inventory of GHG Emissions from Industrial Processes” subproject was officially launched.
